Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR) conducted Short Term Course on Office Automation from 4th August 2014 to 5th September 2014 at SDC, 14 Satsang Vihar Marg, New Delhi. Seventeen Participants from
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
attended the training.

from 8th to 19th December 2014. Two participants from each Member
States are invited for the Course. Interested Candidate(s) are requested

Second Short Term Training Course on Information Technology for Information Management

Information Management from 27th October to 28th November 2014. Two
participants from each Member States are invited for the Course.

Five Days Course On Bibliometric Tools And Techniques
Five days Course on Bibliometric Tools and Techniques was Organized in collaboration with Pondicherry University in Puducherry, India. The importance of Bibliometric for the SAARC region was emphazied during the Course. The participants were imparted training to effectively use citation and some bibliometric software tools and techniques. Thirty Participants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives Nepal and Sri Lanka attended this Course which held from 25th to 29th August 2014.

in collaboration with CSIR and URDIP, Pune, India will be organizing two
days SAARC conference on Open Access from 13th to 14th October 2014 in
Pune. Therefore, interested candidates are requested to contact your
